INDIANAPOLIS -- If you might be losing your job at Marsh due to possible store closures, Kroger may want to hire you.

Kroger is hosting a job fair to hire more than 300 positions for multiple locations on Wednesday and Thursday.

The job fair is being held at at the Drury Plaza Hotel at 9625 N. Meridian St., from 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. both days.

According to a press release, many of the openings would be ideal for applicants for have been department leaders, or have familiarity with the retail industry.

Marsh announced Tuesday that all of its locations will close if the company doesn't find a buyer within 60 days.

"We deeply regret and understand the uncertainty this action will cause our valued employees and the community," a Marsh representative wrote in a public WARN notice.

Nineteen Marsh stores have already closed in 2017.

If the two Marsh stores in downtown Indianapolis close, it would leave downtown with few grocery options for shoppers.
