INDIANAPOLIS – Donald Trump Jr. headlined the Indiana Republican Party’s annual spring dinner in downtown Indy Monday night.

The eldest son of President Donald Trump reflected on Indiana’s role in helping his father gain the republican nomination in 2016. He also mentioned how he assisted his father in selecting Vice President Mike Pence as his running mate.

Trump Jr. said he believes the GOP has a “big opportunity” in Indiana to help change the course of the U.S. Senate.

"We can win these, but we can't rest on those laurels,” said Trump Jr. “We can't sit back on those victories. We have to stay active, because one thing I've seen is the other side has used this to reinvigorate their party."
