INDIANAPOLIS -- Eric Holcomb has had an interesting 12 months.
He went from U.S. Senate candidate to Indiana’s lieutenant governor, to candidate for governor.
And soon, he’ll be Indiana’s 51st governor with 51 percent of the vote.
Holcomb, a Republican, beat Democratic challenger John Gregg in Tuesday’s election.
Holcomb served on the staffs of Indiana politicians Mitch Daniels and Dan Coats before his 2016 Senate run.
