INDIANAPOLIS — More than 600 members of the Indiana National Guard will be deployed to Washington, D.C. this weekend for President-elect Joe Biden’s inauguration, Gov. Eric Holcomb said Wednesday.
Holcomb said he authorized 625 National Guard members to be in Washington, D.C. from Jan. 16-22.
He said it won’t have an impact on security at the Indiana Statehouse this weekend.
