INDIANAPOLIS -- A year into his term, more than 25 percent of Indiana residents still have no opinion on how Gov. Eric Holcomb doing.
The survey, conducted by Morning Consult, shows that 26 percent of Hoosier respondents answered Don't Know/No Opinion about what they think of their governor's job performance.
Indiana had the second-highest percentage of respondents answer "don’t know/no opinion." No. 1 was Iowa's Kim Reynolds.
The survey was conducted between Oct. 1 and Dec. 31, 2017. For each question, respondents were asked their opinion of Holcomb's job performance. They could give one of the following answers:
- strongly approve
- somewhat approve
- somewhat disapprove
- strongly disapprove
- don’t know/no opinion
Fifty percent of respondents answered "approve," 24 percent answered "disapprove," 26 percent answered "don’t know/no opinion." The survey had a 1 percent margin of error.
The highest disapproval percentage was now-former New Jersey Gov. Christ Christie. The highest approval percentage was Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker.
