HAMILTON COUNTY — A motorcyclist was killed in a crash with a pickup truck Monday in northern Hamilton County, according to authorities.
He was identified as Jeremy Chris, 45, of Atlanta, Ind., according to the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office.
Sheriff's deputies responded about 4 p.m. at the intersection of East 267th Street and Devaney Road for the crash. That is about 3.5 miles northwest of Arcadia.
Chris was driving eastbound on 267th Street when the driver of a Chevrolet Silverado pickup heading west on 267th turned left onto Devaney Road into Chris' path, causing a collision. Both vehicles collided at the intersection.
The intersection was closed until about 5:52 p.m., according to the Sheriff's Office.
The Sheriff's Office crash reconstruction team is leading an investigation.
