SEYMOUR — A Vallonia man was killed in a crash Friday night after he struck a guardrail then was hit head-on by another vehicle.
Indiana State Police troopers and emergency personnel were called around 9 p.m. to State Road 258, near the White River Bridge, on the report of a two vehicle crash, according to a press release from Indiana State Police.
Lamar Anderson, 61, of Vallonia, was killed in the crash, according to ISP.
Anderson was traveling westbound when he left the north side of the roadway, struck a guardrail and hit head-on by a vehicle driven by a 70-year-old woman from Seymour, according to ISP. The woman was taken to Schneck Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
The crash is still under investigation by authorities.
