Police looking for hit-and-run driver that struck a pedestrian in Jennings County

JENNINGS COUNTY, Ind. -- Authorities are looking for a driver that allegedly struck a pedestrian early Sunday morning in Jennings County.

Indiana State Police and the Jennings County Sheriff's Department are looking for a Toyota truck or SUV, possibly with front-end damage.

State police said the vehicle was traveling eastbound on US 50 near County Road 700 West when they struck and injured a pedestrian.

The identity or the condition of the victim has not been released.
