The Silver Alert for Jason Vest was canceled Friday evening after he was safely located, according to Scottsburg police.

SCOTTSBURG — A Silver Alert was declared Friday evening for a 23-year-old last seen early Wednesday morning in Scottsburg.
Jason Vest is described as being 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighing 125 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes, according to the alert. He was last seen around 3:05 a.m. Wednesday wearing a gray sweatshirt.
He is believed to be in extreme danger and may require medical assistance, according to the alert.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call 911 or the Scottsburg Police Department at 812-752-4462.
