HAMMOND, Ind. — A statewide Silver Alert has been declared for a missing 81-year-old from Hammond.
Romulo Najera, 81, is described as 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing 190 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes. He was last wearing a camouflage hat, white button up shirt, blue jeans and black shoes.
Najera was last seen around 9 a.m. on Christmas morning.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Najera is asked to call Hammond police at 219-660-0000 or 911.
