AVON — The Town of Avon is encouraging residents light a candle or luminary outside their homes Sunday night to support those on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic.

This is apart of the town's week-long campaign.

At 8:30 p.m. Sunday, a light will shine towards the sky from the Avon Town Hall and should be visible from about three miles away.
