AVON — People helped make a special video for a 7-year-old boy spending his birthday away from his mom, a nurse, as she self-isolates from her family.
Mackeniz Miranda, a nurse in the COVID-19 unit at IU Health West Hospital in Avon, decided to self-isolate during the pandemic. This means she wasn't able to be with her son, Brayson, on his birthday this year.
Healthcare workers, IU Health leaders, and the Colts' mascot helped make the video.
