WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- Purdue forward Caleb "Biggie" Swanigan will put his name in for the 2016 NBA Draft, but he's not diving right in to the process -- more like dipping a toe in.
Swanigan will be eligible for team workouts beginning on April 26 and can participate in the NBA Draft Combine from May 10-15. After the combine, he will have 10 days to keep his name in, or withdraw from the NBA Draft process.
Swanigan grew up in homeless shelters before a family friend adopted him a few years ago.

If he chooses to withdraw, he'll still have eligibility at Purdue.
Swanigan was named to the Big Ten's All-Freshman Team for the 2015-16 season. He averaged 10.2 points, 8.3 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game.
