INDIANAPOLIS — Two more Butler men's basketball games are being postponed after an initial positive COVID-19 test was confirmed.

A Tier 1 personnel member, which includes student-athletes, coaches, and some support staff members, tested positive, according to Butler University's athletic department. The member does not have any symptoms and is continuing to quarantine.

The team is postponing its games against Northern Kentucky, originally scheduled for Dec. 6, and Kansas State, originally scheduled for Dec. 11.

Sunday's originally scheduled game against Eastern Illinois was postponed earlier this week after the member received an initial positive test.

Those who were identified as close contacts of the person who tested positive were told to quarantine after the initial test, according to the university. It's not clear if anyone other team personnel members are considered close contact.

Butler began its season with a win Wednesday against Eastern Michigan at Hinkle Fieldhouse.
