WESTFIELD, Ind. -- Ella Whistler, the girl shot seven times at her middle school two months ago, was honored by the Indianapolis Colts at their training camp Sunday.

Whistler was invited onto the field and into the huddle to applause after practice.

Quarterback Andrew Luck introduced the team to her, saying "Ella Whister, everybody. Ella, this is everybody. Say hi."

"If we were all as tough as you, we'd probably win a bunch of Super Bowls," Luck said.

Whistler then helped the team finish practice, leading the "1-2-3 EllaStrong."

Luck then gave her a hug, according to a video posted on the Colts Twitter account.
