Lucas Oil Stadium roof now closed day after Colts game

INDIANAPOLIS -- Something affiliated with the Indianapolis Colts figured out how to close.

Half of the roof of Lucas Oil Stadium closed late Monday morning, after it was still open many hours after the end of Sunday's Colts game.

Usually, within a few hours after the end of a Colts game where the roof was open, officials close the roof to protect the inside of the stadium. But that didn't happen.

The retractable roof is made of two parts that meet in the middle, like automatic doors at a grocery store.

The northwest part was fully retracted, until about 11:30.

Barney Levengood, of the Capital Improvement Board, said a sensor indicated there was a fault, but they determined there was no fault and closed the roof Monday morning.

Even though it's fixed, we can still enjoy the jokes about the Colts not being the only ones who struggle with the second half, right?
