Riley kid gives Rossi great advice before race

INDIANAPOLIS -- Indianapolis 500 winner Alexander Rossi probably got advice from dozens of people before Sunday's race. But nobody's advice was more prophetic -- or adorable -- than Riley kid Layden.

Rossi visited Layden before the race and asked him ways to win the race.

"Push the pedal and go faster and faster," Layden said.

"Anything else?" Rossi asked him.

"Hmm... Get some gas," Layden said.

Getting gas was an important part of Sunday's race, as Rossi's car was running on fumes when he won the 100th Running of the Indianapolis 500.

Rossi shared his memory with Layden on Tuesday, tweeting "Funny how things come full circle."
