Posted

INDIANAPOLIS -- At a press conference Wednesday, IMS President Doug Boles discussed two "elephants in the room" regarding Sunday's Indianapolis 500 -- Vice President Mike Pence and the Ariana Grande concert attack.

He said fans at this year's race will see an increase in law enforcement walking around the area, but didn't go into many specifics about exact changes.

He also said IMS is preparing for the possibility that Pence comes to the race, but said he hasn't heard one way or another from Pence's office whether he'll attend. Call 6 Investigates reported Tuesdaythat Pence will be at the Indianapolis 500.
