The Colts took the field Monday night against the Jets with a 53-man roster … but that doesn't mean they're the only ones in Indy making a name for themselves on the football field.

Indy native Cynthia Schmidt has become a star in her own right in the Legends Football League.

The Southport High School and IUPUI grad plays as a wide receiver on the Las Vegas Sin. She says she loves her fans – those she inspires, and those she entertains.

"They range from little girls who look up to us to older guys just there to have a few drinks and watch us hit each other," Schmidt said.

The LFL has six teams right now. Schmidt said if the league ever expanded to Indianapolis, she'd come home to play in a heartbeat.
