WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. --  Purdue has hired Western Kentucky's Jeff Brohm to be its head coach, the university announced Monday.

Brohm led Western Kentucky to a 30-10 record over the last three seasons as head coach.

Over that same timeframe, Purdue had an 8-28 record. 

Purdue fired head coach Darrell Hazell in October.
