If you’ve never seen the Space Station flyover, now is your chance.

The International Space Station will be visible Tuesday night.

With skies clear to partly cloudy, viewing should be good. The flyover Tuesday night will be the best for two reasons: The flyover will last longer (5 minutes) and pass nearly overhead.

The Space Station will appear as a steady white light sweeping across the sky.

Tuesday Night Flyover:
Appears: 8:35 pm low in southwest
Maximum: Height: Climbs 73 degrees above the horizon
Disappears: 8:40 pm low in the east/northeast

Here are some fun facts from NASA:

…the International Space Station travels around 17,500 mph.
…the International Space Station is as big as a 6 bedroom house
…the ISS has 2 bathrooms and a 360 degree view bay window
…the ISS is 357 feet long (a football field is 360 feet counting the end zones)
