INDIANAPOLIS -- With the weather much warmer than normal February temperatures this week, the Indianapolis Zoo is opening up for families on Monday.
Zoo will be open 9 a.m.-4 p.m. to take advantage of the weather and Presidents Day.
The Zoo is typically closed on Mondays and Tuesdays in January and February.
Many animals that prefer the warmer weather, such as the lions, elephants and rhinos, will be out.
