7 people shot in deadly Indianapolis morning

INDIANAPOLIS -- Seven people were shot, one fatally, early Tuesday morning in Indianapolis.

Four people were hospitalized after two shootings about a mile apart from each other.

The first shooting happened just after midnight. Two people were shot, and one was killed.

A few hours later, three men were shot in a house in the 1400 block of Wallace Avenue. 

Two people were taken to Methodist Hospital, the other to Eskenazi Health. All three are listed in stable condition.

Aggravated assault is currently investigating the shooting.

There were other people inside the house at the time of the shooting -- they're being interviewed by police.

One other person, a 15-year-old, was shot about an hour later, in the 4000 block of E. 12th Street. He was listed in stable condition. Police are still trying to figure out if there is a connection between the two shootings. 

A 56-year-old man walked into Eskenazi Health with gunshot wounds. He's listed in stable condition.
