INDIANAPOLIS — A person was fatally shot Sunday evening on the north side of Indianapolis, according to police.
The shooting was reported to Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers around 7:10 p.m. in the 3000 block of North Capitol Avenue, IMPD Officer Michael Hewitt said in an email.
Additional details surrounding the incident have not been released.
On Aug. 4, a man was found shot to death inside a vehicle in the same area.
