INDIANAPOLIS — With snow in the forecast, 80 Indianapolis Department of Public Works trucks will treat and plow the roadways until Tuesday night.

Starting at 11 p.m. Sunday, 80 Snow Force trucks will begin pre-treating the roads and potential slick spots.

Additional Indy DPW staff members will be on standby to address any possible wind damage to traffic signals or trees blocking the roads.

You can report these issues by calling the Mayor's Action Center at 317-327-4622.

LATEST FORECAST | Some could see up to three inches of snow

Since October, Snow Force drivers have been training, preparing equipment, and making sure they have a full supply of de-icing material.

Indy DPW is urging people to drive with caution, especially on areas known to get slippery like bride overpasses, and keep at least three car lengths between your car and plow trucks.
