INDIANAPOLIS — Crews have reopened Interstate-70 at the Interstate-465 south split ahead of schedule on Saturday night.
Indiana Department of Transportation crews closed I-70 at the split on Friday night for weekend construction work, according to INDOT. It was scheduled to reopen by Monday morning.
The interstate was closed in both directions for safety and to allow crews to get more work done in a shorter amount of time.
INDOT also closed parts of several other interstates for weekend work.
