Indy man arrested in Massachusetts more than a year after Plainfield mass shooting
PLAINFIELD — More than a year after a mass shooting on Main Street in Plainfield, a suspect has been arrested.
According to police, two charges of murder and three charges of attempted murder have been filed against 28-year-old Dalonny Dion Rodgers. He allegedly killed Jose Rolando Castaneda Varela and Alfredo Garcia outside of the White House Suites on Sept. 10, 2022.
Two other victims were hospitalized after being shot.
Rodgers was located and taken into custody on Wednesday in Pittsfield, Mass during a stolen vehicle investigation.
