MOORESVILLE — A multi-car accident in Mooresville is causing significant delays.
According to the Madison Township Fire Department, seven vehicles were involved in a wreck in the area of State Road 144 and Centenary Road.
A total of 11 people were transported from the scene to local hospitals for evaluation. According to Anthony McClure of the Madison Township Fire Department, none of the injuries are believed to be life-threatening.
Due to the extensive cleanup, authorities in Johnson County are shutting down roads at SR 144 and 37/69. The area will remain closed for several hours due to an investigation and small hazmat cleanup.
Departments ask motorists to find different routes if possible.
