SPEEDWAY — Two people were shot Monday morning in an apartment complex in Speedway.
Officers were called to the 2200 block of White Oaks Drive around 11 a.m. These are the apartments directly south of Speedway High School.
The condition of the individuals shot was not immediately available from police.
Monday afternoon police issued an update saying they had taken one person into custody in connection with the shootings. That person's identity has not been released at this time.
Police say the Marion County Prosecutor will make the final determination on whether or not that person will be charged.
