INDIANAPOLIS — IMPD is investigating after a man was found dead in a "unoccupied dwelling" Thursday morning.
IMPD officers found the victim around 8 a.m. in the 100 block of North Euclid Avenue while responding to an unrelated call. This location is in the Tuxedo Park neighborhood.
Corbin Ray Rogers, 28, died from multiple gunshot wounds, according to a probable cause affidavit.
On Dec. 15, IMPD announced three suspects were arrested in connection to Rogers' death the day before.
According to a probable cause affidavit, officers were investigating a burglary in the area. They entered a vacant duplex to find the suspects but instead found Rogers dead.
Court documents say one of Rogers' family members received a phone call from him begging for $5,000 and in the background, a woman was yelling about a stolen car.
Others later told police Rogers was beaten before being driven to Euclid Avenue, where several gunshots were fired. The people then drove away.
On Dec. 20, official charging information was released for 36 year-old Cristina Clark, 29-year-old Josselyn Johnson and 21-year-old Jaheim Miller. All three face charges of murder and kidnapping.
Detectives are continuing to investigate to determine if anyone else was involved in this incident.
Anyone with information about this incident should contact Detective Dan Smith at the IMPD Homicide Office at 317.327.3475 or e-mail him at Daniel.Smith@Indy.gov.
