BROWNSBURG — A man was shot to death during some type of "transaction" gone wrong late Thursday in Brownsburg, police say.
Police say they're now looking for a car that was occupied by two people at the scene as well as the victim's vehicle, which was stolen after the shooting.
Officers found the victim, Christian Arciniega, shot in a parking lot around 11 p.m. in Cardinal Bark Park. He died at the scene.
Investigators learned Deamonta McIntyre, 23, was driven to the park by his girlfriend, 21-year-old Kee Meh.
Police said Saturday McIntyre was meeting Arciniega for an "agreed upon drug transaction."
Police say McIntyre attempted to rob Arciniega before the shooting.
McIntyre faces charges of murder, criminal confinement and armed robbery. Meh faces one count of assisting a criminal.
Police are asking that anyone with information on the incident call 317-852-1109, ext. 2123 or the Hendricks County Communications Center at 317-838-3700.
