KOKOMO — The husband of a woman found dead in a home in Kokomo last month is now charged with her murder.
The Howard County Sheriff's Office initially received a missing persons report for Sandra Wilson, 41, on Feb. 7.
Around 11 a.m., deputies and detectives visited a home in the 1100 block of Arundel Drive where they found Wilson's body.
Wilson's death was ruled a homicide due to physical blunt trauma.
On Feb. 9, SWAT Team deputies served a search warrant in the 5900 block of Waubesa Way. After several minutes, Jeremy Wilson, Sandra's husband, surrendered and was taken into custody.
A Chevy Tahoe, which police believed Jeremy Wilson had, was taken as evidence.
On March 8, Wilson was served a warrant for murder, aggravated battery and domestic battery resulting in serious bodily injury related to Sandra's death.
Online court records show the state of Indiana plans to seek habitual offender status for Jeremy.
Anyone with information on this case is asked to contact the Howard County Sherriff's office at 765-614-3449 or Crime Stoppers of Central Indiana at 317-262-8477.
