Good Morning Indiana Anchor Lauren Casey enjoys waking up and delivering the news to her hometown.
The Center Grove grad grew up watching RTV6 with her family and is excited to be a part of the team on "Good Morning Indiana." She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Franklin College in December 2014. She was also awarded the prestigious Harvey C. Jacobs Award for Journalism.
While Lauren's journey to the the anchor desk is a little unconventional in this business, she feels very blessed to have started her career right here in Indianapolis. She became the Morning Traffic Reporter for Good Morning Indiana at the beginning of her senior year of college following an internship at RTV6. In 2017, she took on a new role as the weekday morning and midday anchor for the station.
Her passion for journalism extends to her love of the central Indiana community where she was born and raised. She lives with her husband and high school sweetheart Brooks and their son, Archie, in Greenwood. Brooks and Lauren are members of SS. Francis and Clare Catholic Church and also Southland Church in Greenwood. They enjoy going out to new restaurants, attending Center Grove and Franklin College sporting events, traveling, collecting whiskey and spending time with their families.
