INDIANAPOLIS — One person is in critical condition after being shot on the far east side of Indianapolis.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers responded to the 9100 block of Cavalier Court on reports of shots fired at 11:15 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers located a 18-year old male suffering from a gunshot injury. The victim was reported to be in critical condition.
Police say three people have been detained for various offenses, but none of them have been arrested for the shooting at this time.
According to IMPD, the investigation into the shooting remains active and detectives continue to seek the public's assistance with the case.
