PLAINFIELD — Four people were shot Saturday night in Plainfield, police say.
According to the Plainfield Police Department, officers found multiple people with gunshot wound(s) in the parking lot of the White House Suites at 2688 E. Main Street in Plainfield around 9:30 p.m.
According to police at the scene, one victim died at the motel and one died at a local hospital. Two other men were also taken to the hospital and are expected to survive, police said Sunday morning.
Those who were killed have been identified as Alfredo Garcia, 52, and Jose Rolando Castenada, 36.
Police believe the shooting was an isolated incident.
Detectives have identified a person of interest, but no information about that person has been released.
