LAFAYETTE — Two 16-year-olds have been arrested in connection to five arson incidents across Lafayette, according to Lafayette Police.
The fires all occurred on Olympia Drive from Sept. 17 - Jan. 2 and damaged vehicles, trailers and other property.
Police say both boys were taken to a juvenile intake facility.
Investigators from Lafayette Police and Lafayette Fire have been collecting evidence, obtaining statements and cooperating with local businesses to gather information on the suspect(s).
Anyone with information regarding the suspect(s) or anyone with information about the arsons, is asked to call the arson hotline at 1-800-382-4628.
A reward of up to $5,000 is available for information leading to the conviction of the people responsible.
