INDIANAPOLIS — IMPD says a man died Tuesday night after he was hit by a driver while walking across 38th Street near N. Gale Street on the northeast side.
Based on preliminary information, a vehicle traveling westbound of 38th Street struck a male as he was crossing the street around 10:30 p.m.
The pedestrian died at the scene, according to police.
On June 2, the Marion County Coroner's office said the victim had been identified as Roger Brown, 64.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and is cooperating, police said.
The IMPD crash investigation unit responded to the scene.
His identity has not been released.
