Joining WRTV as its Hamilton County MMJ in 2025, Logan MacDonald brings years of experience and passion for local news to central Indiana.
Logan grew up in the Northern Virginia area, before getting his degree in Sports Media from Virginia Tech, with a minor in Spanish. The passion for journalism first began when Logan wrote for his high school newspaper as a sideline sports reporter.
Shortly after graduation, Logan began a career in news in Colorado Springs, before moving to sunny Jacksonville, Florida. In Jacksonville, Logan spent three years as a reporter for Action News Jax, the CBS/FOX duopoly.
When Logan isn’t chasing a local story for Hamilton County, he’s rewatching his favorite Marvel movies or searching the town for live music.
Logan loves to tell stories that hold the powerful accountable and give a voice to communities in need.
